Custom Quilt Jacket: Surprise

One-of-a-Kind Quilt Jacket 💜 

Surprise jacket made from one or more different quilts. This is a surprise/mystery option, you won't know what your quilt looks like until you receive your jacket. The quilt jackets are oversized, with a fold down collar, cardigan opening and roomy pockets.

Due to the quilt selection being a surprise, these jackets are offered at a reduced price compared to my ready-to-ship pieces. These jackets are made from different quilts leftover from previous projects. 

All Sizes Are Measured in inches, with the collar rolled down and the jacket laid flat, Pit to Pit.

All Lengths are measured shoulder to hem, and falls approximately 35” 

I can make shorter lengths if desired. 

All sleeve lengths are approximately 21” , can be rolled or left long. 

Inside seams are durable and neat. They are either serged, bound or both. Depending on the thickness of quilt I am working with, I will do what is best.

All quilts have been laundered so they are clean and odor-free. They are vintage and 25+ years old, they have been used and loved, the fabric reflects this in both beauty and imperfections. I mend some areas and some areas the original condition of the quilt shines through. These quilts were rescued, transformed, and given a second life. Fading, worn spots, discoloration, color bleeds, repairs, and missing pieces are all possible and to be expected. I will use a coordinating binding if the original hems and binding can not be used.
